As with movies, I often forget the titles of books I've read. The rest of you in the group are too smart, so I'm sure this never happens to you. But the list aside, I thought a blog might be a fun and easy way to communicate with each other.
So I don't forget, so far this group has read:
The History of Love by Nicole Krauss, with dinner and drinks at The Stable--Jess' pick
Mountains Beyond Mountains by Tracy Kidder with dinner and drinks at Cicero's (as a second alternate :)-Morgan's pick
Chocolat by Joanne Harris with dinner, drinks and, of course, dessert, at The Chocolate Bar--T Samways' pick
My Life in France by Julia Child with her nephew whose name is escaping me, at Liluma, recommended by T Corley
Midnight's Children by Salman Rushdie, at Everest Cafe, Sonya's choice
For next month: The Omnivore's Dilemma by Michael Pollan, at 7pm Tuesday May 4 at Local Harvest on Morganford, Jocelyn's choice.
